Question by drifter45807: How can I discourage toads away from a goldfish pond?
I know toads are good for the garden, etc., but the pond is right outside my bedroom window . In early spring their singing can be pretty LOUD and goes on ALL NIGHT. Some organic way to repel them?

The toads are there because it’s a good feeding ground and they feed on insects. If it’s possible to move the lighting (or shut it off) around the pond, that would greatly reduce the number of insects that gather there. Another thing you could do is add lighting somewhere where the toads won’t bother you. The insects will go to the light and the toads will follow them.

(I get toads in my pool).
