Question by Resto: koi pond in vegas limitations.?
Hello, im deciding on creating a koi pond garden in backyard. Just wondering if anybody lives in Vegas and knows what the guildlines are? what is the maximum depth before i get fined? above 16 inches would be considered a pool.. i am shooting for 3-4ft. I dont know if i am required to put a fence,.. mind you, this would be in my small backyard and not frontyard, and having a small backyard, no room for a fence, but maybe a gridlike cover that sits on top of fence.. THANKS AGAIN!

In general, ponds are considered temporary structures and are not covered by any civil building/safety codes. Check with your local code enforcement office.
