Question by poecilia.r.lvr: Has anyone been success full keeping guppies in a garden pond?
Since guppies are tropical fish with certain temperature requirements, I was wondering who has actually tried keeping them in a garden pond and has been successful over the years, and not just one summer. I currently live in Orange County, CA. I’m sure a heater has to be used. Anyone?

I don’t have experience with garden ponds, however, google is very useful. Here’s one site that states that guppies are good in ponds for mosquitoes, so I’d imagine they’d survive well:

I think that they should be fine. Just watch out for cats. =]
