Question by sarah.jennison65: should i put some garden pond snails with my 2 non fancy goldfish?
the tank is 11 gallons and the snails are about 2cm long and 1cm tall.
oops! i aciddentely asked this twice! lol!
thanks for the answers, how many should i put in? baring in mind about them multiplying.

yes, its not harmful to either species and it will keep the algae down.
Your tank sounds a bit small for a goldfish, they get huge.( a foot long sometimes.)

    If that’s all you have in you tank and your goldfish are still small then go ahead. If you have plants then I wouldn’t recommend as they eat the plants. If you are worried about your snails because its winter then don’t worry. They can survive as long as you have a deep pond.
