Question by : what can i use in my garden pond to clear it up thats safe for pets?
i am looking to add something in my plastic garden pond to clear and clean up the water and to stop mosquito’s from it. but my dog has a bad Habit of drinking the water even thou she has her own……. all i can find is stuff that is harmful to animals. any suggestions??? thank you

usually they’ll just tell you to empty the pond… clean it urself…. refill it up… and put ur pet in it…

I hate that way tho..

    Try getting a barley pad. I left you a link to a sight that can give you some more info but basically it keeps the water clear and clean and it’s natural so it’s safe for pets. As far as the mosquitos go you can pick up a couple of goldfish that will eat them and their larvae. Good luck.

    A pump (to a fountain or waterfall) and carbon filter will make your pond clean and much more interesting. Then it would be clean if the pets want to drink. Goldfish or koi will add yet more beauty and interest as well as control mosquitoes.
