Question by marylandmeadow: what do you use to kill mosiquitoes in a nearby pond?
My Sister in Law lives near Jacksonville Florida and her and her family are pretty much getting attacked by mosiquitoes that are coming from the communtiy pond near by. My Hubby said there is something you can buy and put into the water to kill them, does anyone have any serious ideas? Thanks a Bunch!

Put lilac scent, or flower in the water. That will keep them away.

Your husband is right; check at your local gardening shop-there is an eco-friendly composite that you can add to ponds to control mosquito populations. If the pond is large, fish will do the trick- they love live food!
